Match  1, Sat May 3    -- Facility: SAP "G" nets ready, Field great, lines faint.
                                    - Weather, spectacular morning for soccer.  No clouds, wind free.  Temp 20
                                    - 38 players, 3 teams.
                                    
Match  2, Tue May 6   - Facility: SAP "G"  nets ready.  Field great, Lines good
                                    - Weather, super windy.  Temp 20 but was cold
                                    - 16 players, played full field.
 
Match  3, Sat May 10  - Facility: SAP "G"  nets ready.  Field great, lines good.
                                    - Weather, wind free.  Temp 20
                                    - 36+ players, 3 teams.

Match  4, Tue May 13  - Facility: SAP "G" nets ready.  Field great, lines good.
                                     - Weather, we avoided rain and wind.  Temp 16.
                                     - 22 players, one with a goaltender/  Lots of goals, where was the defence.  

Match  5, Sat May 17  - Facility: SAP "G"  nets ready.  Field great, lines good.
                                    - Weather decent as per Derick.  Temp 14
                                    - close to 40 players, 3 teams - 2 keepers
                                    - hoodie returned to Brian.  Chad is our hero.

Match  6, Tue May 20  - Facility: SAP "G" nets ready.   Field great lines good.
                                     - Weather dreary, temp 10.  Drizzle through out the day and start of soccer.
                                     - 10 players.  Used pylons and played within the 18 yard box.  Worked quite well, all enjoyed.
                                     - Parks and Rec less likely to close the fields.  "USER DISCRETION", means play if you wish just dont damage the field.  

Match  7, Sat May 24  - Facility: Foxboro.  Nets (Bruce) and pylons (Earl).   Unlined, field good.
                                    - Weather: warm, blue sky and windy.  Pleasant.
                                    - 33 / 34 players, 3 teams - one keeper.  Extended play, well past 12 noon.

Match  8, Tue May 27 - Facility: SAP "G" nets ready.  Field good
                                            - Weather pleasant
                                            - 22 players.  Slow to get started.

Match   9, Sat May 31   - Facility: SAP "G".  Nets ready, field good.
                                      - 38 players, 3 teams of 12 and 2 keepers 

June 2025 Game Log

Match  10, Tue Jun   3     - Facility: SAP "G".  Nets ready, field good.
                                        - Weather, a little chilly.
                                        - 24 players

Match  11, Sat Jun  7   - Facility: SAP "G".  Nets ready, field good.
                                     - Weather, windy, cloudy, 12-14C.  Now have a list of fair weather players.
                                     - 24 players, evenly balanced.  

Match 12, Tue Jun 10   - Facility: SAP "G".   Nets ready, field good.
                                      - weather, windy with a chill.
                                      - 25 players.

Match 13, Sat Jun 14   - Facility: SAP "G". 
                                        *****  No Soccer   *****  Fields closed by County of Strathcona - Rain   ******
                                      - Weather at game time - Cold, Damp and Miserable.  Good Call.

Match 14, Tue Jun 17  - Facility: SAP "G".  Update from Les. 
                                      - 25 players.  

Match 15, Sat Jun 21   - Facility: SAP "G". 
                                        *****  No Soccer   *****  Fields closed by County of Strathcona - Rain   ******
                                      - Weather at game time - Better than Sat Jun 14th but a good call.  

Match 16, Tue Jun 24   - Facility: SAP "G".  Nets ready, field good - recent rain appreicated.
                                      - weather, very pleasant.  Calm.
                                      - 3 teams.  one keeper, 33 players in total.  Darren is back.

Match 17, Sat Jun 28    - Facility: SAP "G" .  Field good.  Soft from recent rain but payable
                                      - weather 14 C.  No wind, no sun but decent.
                                      - late start 10:26.  18 Players.  Pradeep and Phillip 20 minutes late, now 20 players.
                                      - played without keepers, in order to score you had to have the ball passed within the 18yd box.
                                      - played 72 minutes.  Good turnout for the weather.  But too many looked out their back door
                                        and said inclement weather but didnt realize weather in Sherwood Park on saturdays guarantees
                                        playable soccer.   (does this update meet your expectations Tim).
