Game Notes: Gibbon took another tough lose on Sunday at the hands of the Stark Longhorns. The Reds stranded 13 runners and was only able to plate one after numerous opportunities. Brad Mathiwetz went the distance for Stark while also hitting a solo shot in the 2nd and a double in the 4th. Jake Mangen also hit a homerun, a two run shot in the 1st. For the Reds Wade Werner was one of the few bright spots pitching in relief of starter Sam Van Hon. Werner went five innings allowing two hits, no runs, and striking out four. Up next the Reds will play Saturday and Sunday home games during the Gibbon Days celebration.
