INFORMATION
From 2005 to 2012, The Trail Jays Baseball Club was a summer American Legion baseball team comprised of players from J.L. Crowe Secondary School, Rossland Secondary School, L.V. Rogers Secondary School, Stanley Humphries Secondary School, Mount Sentinel Secondary School, and other West Kootenay high schools. The Jays were based out of the third base dugout of Butler Park in beautiful Trail, British Columbia.

The Trail Jays were part of the North Idaho American Legion Baseball League and the Spokane American Legion Baseball League, and competed in tournaments throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Oregon against other summer club and American Legion teams. With support from local sponsors, the program and its parents and players also hosted numerous tournaments, including the North Idaho District Playoffs and the annual Trail Jays/Safety Net Security Midsummer Classic, hosting teams from throughout the Pacific Northwest. Three Jays players were drafted to the MLB and dozens of players graduated to play baseball, hockey, and other sports collegiately and professionally throughout the United States and Canada.
