A great weekend -- Team PGBlue won two games against Chilliwack city teams, 8-6 and 16-4. Braeden Wheeler had the hot bat, and was winning pitcher in Game 1, Brady Pratt was winning pitcher in Game 2, and Kolby Lukinchuk stole every base he could!

Team PGRed split, beating North Delta 9-3 behind the strong pitching of Ajay Nickolet and a clutch two-run single in the first inning. In the second game, Liam Campbell was the hard-luck losing pitcher when a fly ball fell in to lead to two runs in the final inning of a 4-3 loss to Chilliwack. Very strong pitching and defence throughout, as PGRed gave up just seven runs in two games.

Rain then got us on Sunday -- we did manage to play an intrasquad game on the bantam field, and everyone arrived home safely.

PLAYERS -- Bring own hats, baseball pants, socks, belts; no concern over colors of those. Jerseys will be provided. Also, own helmets, gloves, cleats, and bat. (If someone does NOT have their own pants/belt, some extras will be brought along.)

Chilliwack is doing a BBQ for us on Saturday evening, and a get-a-way lunch for us on Sunday -- classy!
