11 of our players went down to this -- Seth Lapre, Ajay Nickolet, Mikey Schwab, Matt Siemens, Quinten Astorino, Ryan Bachand, Ryan Hampe, Liam Campbell, Zach Swanson, Kolby Lukinchuk, Brett Mero.
A large number of PG players were on a "watch list" for the John Main tournament in Burnaby -- all our players put in a great showing on the defensive side of the game, as Prince George players led each defensive category while trying to prove they should be one of the final 14 representing Team BC at the CABA World Series in Ohio.
Three players ended up in the final 20 -- Zach Swanson on the final roster as an outfielder/reliever, while 2B Mikey Schwab and RHP/IF Ajay Nickolet made the roster as alternates, so could end up going to replace an injured player.

Last year, Cole Schwing was a finalist for a spot on the team, and the whole tryout experience is a tremendous one for these players -- both for first-year and second-year players, with first-year players largely doing this to get on the radar screen, as some did in 2012.
Jim Swanson of Prince George has been named coach of the CABA World Series team, the Team BC Selects.
The Interior tryout will be in Kamloops, on Sunday, May 12. After that, the team will be scouted at the John Main Classic tournament in May (see calendar/schedule), and may be scouted in Chilliwack, April 20-21.
The tournament runs in early July (dates below), and last year Team BC won the World Series.
