B.C. Minor Strips Tritons of Win!
Posted July 8, 2012
The game was originally played on May 13th and after 6 completed innings the Chuckers were leading by an 8 - 6 score. In the top of the 7th inning the Tritons scored 11 runs to take a 17 - 8 lead. The game was then stopped due to darkness. Both teams agreed to finish the game on June 10th. Richmond scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th and the game was recorded as an 17 - 11 White Rock victory.
The B.C. Minor Board ruled that as per rule 18.03 the game was an official game as 5 innings had been completed and rule 18.05 that when a game is called during an incomplete inning the score reverts back to the end of the last completed inning. So the score reverted back to the score at the end of the 6th inning and the score at that time was 8 - 6 for Richmond.
