Summer 2008 'Complete Athlete System'
The 'Complete Athlete' System introduces youth athletes to the principle of athleticism and body movement mechanics. Following Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) principles, age specific rather than sport specific training is imparative to the present and future development of the athlete.
We offer small group instruction ( 10:1 player to coach ratio) on the proper techniques to balance, strength, power and flexibility training. This instruction provides the knowledge for athletes how to train effectively and efficiently to build overall athleticism. This introduction to the 'Complete Athlete System' operates for 8 weeks. It includes 2 x 1 hour sessions per week (Wed & Fri). For those athletes under 16 years of age, this camp qualifies as a "Children's Fitness Tax Credit". For further information on this newly imposed (Jan. 2007) tax credit go to the links section of our website.
Please note there are limited spots for this program. For additional info on this camp or contact 403-878-4294 for details
BASEBALL
If you're a coach, athlete, or parent who would like to learn how to condition your baseball, softball, or other overhead athletes, contact us for team or individual clinics. Athletes learn to properly condition their arms and body to help reduce injury and enhance performance. Dates and times for these clinics are to be discussed individually.
HOCKEY
"Hockey teams are made in the winter, hockey players are made in the summer" is a slogan learned early by athletes who play at a higher level. Enquire about our summer programs that can be tailored to your summer sport(s) or hockey school. Call 403-878-4294 for details. 'Retain the Gains' you made from your hard work in the off-season! Research shows that in-season training can help reduce losses in strength and susceptibility to injury. Register for inseason training. Choose one or two sessions per week. Call for details.
GOLF
This program is not for 'hobbists' but rather athletes looking to take their game to the next level. For further information on the Titleist Performance Institute follow the "links" button on the left hand column.
