| Senior pitcher Shane Simpkins was recently named to Under Armour/Baseball Factory pre-season All-American team. The announcement was made after Shane participated in a series of showcases. Most recently Shane pitched in Tucson, Arizona. Congratulations Shane! |

| Senior to be Shane Simpkins helped the Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup team to the Championship. Shane pitched in relief during the tournament. He picked up two saves including the Championship game which was played at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies. Shane will pitch later this summer in Puerto Rico and Georgia. | Posted May 17/11 - Seniors Go Out With Victory |
| 8 seniors played their final game on May 7th against rival Wilson at Freemansburg. Anthony Snover, Jacob Yost, Paul Kucinski, Kevin Duffy, Nick Salimbene, Dan Santiago, RJ Snyder and Matt Schlegel were honored along with their parents before the game. A great night for the seniors who beat Wilson 7 to3. RJ snyder picked up the win for the Crusaders. A special thanks for thier time and dedication over the past 4 years. Good Luck! |

| University of Maryland-Eastern Shore senior Designated hitter Bryan Chaikowsky was named Black College Baseball Player of the Week for the period ending March 27. Chaikowsky, Class of 2006, hit .563 (9-16) with 8 RBI's and eight runs in four games. The 6-2, 210 pound lefty had a career-high six RBI's in Game 1 of a doubleheader against Coppin State on March 26. |

| Posted Mar 30/11 - Notre Dame Picks Up Non-League Win |
| On Tuesday afternoon the Crusaders picked up their second consecutive win. Notre Dame scored 13 unanswered runs in the 2nd inning against Moravian Academy. The second inning runs were enough support for Junior Mike Martinsky who was making his varsity debut on the mound. Seven Crusaders drove in RBI's (Simpkins, Poulson, Santiago, Yost, MacDonald, Doerr, and Margle). The Crusaders will return to action on Wednesday to play South Division rival Saucon Valley. |

| Both the JV and Varsity Scrimmages for today have been postponed until Tuesday. Game time is still set for 3:30. The JV team will play at Freedom, while the Varsity team will play at home. |

The Jv and Varsity scrimmage for Saturday, March 12th against Pius X will be played. The JV scrimmage will be played at 11:30 and the Varsity Scrimmage will be at 2 pm. |

| Tryouts for the 2011 baseball team will begin on Monday, March 7th. As of now practice will begin at 2:30 in the annex. Schedule may change due to the weather and the availability to get on the baseball field. Final cuts will be made on Friday, March 11th. A parents meeting will be held on Thursday, March 10th in the school library @ 5:30. One parent must attend, along with the players. |

| The Notre Dame baseball team will once again participate in the Pride of the Diamond High School Baseball League. The team will play a 12 game regular season. After the completion of the regular season the team will compete in a single elimination tournament. This is the third consecutive year the Crusaders have participated. Last years team lost in the league semi-finals. You can find the complete schedule listed in the handout section of the website. |

Tyler Vail a recent graduate of Notre Dame was named to the 2010 Small School All-State team. Vail is the 2nd Notre Dame player to be named All-State. Logan Marshall a 2007 graduate was the other. |

| Seniors Tom Crimi and Tyler Vail were selected by the Colonial League Baseball Coaches to the 2010 1st team All-League. Crimi was named 1st team shortstop after being chosen as a 2nd team selection in 2009. Tyler was selected as a 1st team second baseman and pitcher. Vail was also chosen as the 2010 Colonial League MVP. Tyler was the 1st baseball player in school history to be named MVP. |
