The Blue Jays win a big game against heated rival, the Green Isle Irish in a Mother's Day evening game which was also on the radio.  This game means something inthe standings for Plato now in the new B Class in the state baseball standings.  Plato walks away playing a flawless game across the board and wins 8-0 against the Irish.

 

Reece Schwirtz was award the player of the game with another out standing performance on the mound recording 14 strikeouts.  But, another that had a huge game was Jackson Paumen be the new kid on the block who went 4-5 at the plate with one double and an RBI.  Also worth noting, Beau Lepel hit a man shot 2-Run home run into a gusting 25 mph wind down the left field line to really get the scoring moving for the Blue Jays. Beau also had 4 RBI's in the game.

Next game is this coming Sunday where we head east down HWY 212 to face off against another Class B team in the CRVL, the Carver Black Sox.  This game will be a 2pm start time so come out and enjoy the great May weather and support the Blue Jays in Carver.
