Game
Notes:
The 1st section game of the year and it was a good one. The hot hitting Saints came to Bluejay Stadium on a 3 game win streak with hot bats, 15 runs vs Hutch, then 2 ten run jobs. So we knew they could swing it, the Bluejay wind was again a factor on the day, gustying toward right. 3rd inn With bases loaded KP beat out a double play and Bluejays up 1-0. 5th Saints open with a single, sac bunt, then single to tie the game 1-1. Bottom 6th. Johnson singles,KP flyout, Eric is HBP,Lang ground to 3rd baseman, he steps on 3rd for out # 2. Dean has clutch 2 out single to break a tie game, as Eric scores, then Boomer follows with a RBI single,Lang scores, Tony in now hitting for himself, Doubles off the right field fence, scoreing Dean and Boomer, Bluejays score 4 now lead 5-1 and thats how it would end. Tony went the distance on the hill, throwing a 5 hitter. At the plate, back to back to back 2 out hits in the 6th opened the game up for Plato. |
