Important Notice from the Coach

Parents

This is a reminder about head injuries. If a player is knocked out or receives a hit to the head and has to be removed from the game, the player will require a note from there doctor to return to the ice, with No EXCEPTIONS. Concussions are permanent; they do not heal over night. Once a player has had one, the second occurs much more readily. They are also the most dangerous within six to eight hours of the blow. We need every player on this team. Having them all miss one or two games over the season is not worth it. This policy is designed to protect the player from pressures from Coaches, Parents and themselves to play. It is not meant to keep your son out of the line up. If there are any questions, please talk to Scott.
