A welcome from your Coach Welcome back to, or for your first time to
the minor bantam Forest City A team. This year's team looks a lot different than last year's.
There are seven new players on this team, and the kids that were picked, I
believe were the best players that were available. I made some changes from
last year and it my have shocked people; but when you see the kids together, I
think you will see what I see. We added size and speed and I think when you see
him in action, a hot new goalie. We do have someone this year to work with both
of the goalies and I am very happy with our back end.

Important Notice from the Coach
Parents
This is a reminder about head injuries. If a player is
knocked out or is hit to the head and has to be removed from the game, the
player will require a note from there doctor to return to the ice, with No
EXCEPTIONS.
Concussions are permanent; they do not heal over
night. Once a player has had one, the second occurs much more readily.
They are also
the most dangerous within six to eight hours of the blow. We need every
player
on this team. Having them all miss one or two games over the season is
not worth it. This policy is
designed to protect the player from pressures from Coaches, Parents and
themselves to play. It is not meant to keep your son out of the line
up. If
there are any questions, please talk to Scott.
We had a great game the other night against North, we can see a
big improvement from the first game to the second. I know we will beat that
team this year, but will need a full bench to do it. The guys are working
hard and are tyring. They have gained a lot of confidences and now
believe they can win; and they sure opened North's eyes! So far this
year, the guys have been great; we have yet to sit a player and they have
all done everything we have asked. We have not had any bad attitudes
on the bench at all. What a great group of guys!
