| The Sandvipers jump on the Braves early and don't let up. Playing the Braves in the Weekday Double Elimination Playoff tournament, the Sandvipers answered back after the loss last Thursday forcing the Championship Finale game. Paul Haack led the way going 4 for 4 with a Walk, a Home Run, Double and 2 RBIs. Steve Johnston picked up the win on the mound going 6 innings, he also hit a 2 Run Homerun. Greg Shepard added to his great season with a Solo Homerun in the 5th inning. The Sandvipers collect their 7th league Championship with the win. The game final Score was braves 6 Sandvipers 18. |
