| Sandvipers have moved their game against the Nellis Raptors to 3:30pm this Sunday at Western H.S. These two teams will matchup for the first meeting of division rivals. Greg Shepard returns to Sandvipers lineup. After missing the first 7 games of the season Shepard returns form Ankle surgery for his first action for the Sandvipers this year. Shepard broke his Ankle in week 1 of the MSBL Season with the White Sox on a freak play at 3rd Base. He has played in 3 games returning from the injury for the White Sox and is ready to get back on the field with the Vipers. Josh Meents has surgery to repair a broken finger on his left hand. Meents was injured in the game against the Ambush when he took a back swing to his hand. That game was Meents first game back from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for 4 weeks. Sandvipers are hopeful for a quick recovery. Kris Jensen should be joining back with the Sandvipers soon as his Season with the Lady Patriots of Liberty H.S. is coming to an end. Jensen is the head Varsity Coach for the Liberty H.S. Softball team. Jensen was one of four Sandvipers voted to the LVABU All-Star game last fall. |
