The Blue Jays go 2-1 on a meat grinder of a week last week!  Plato beats Carver 2-0.  Then we battle it out with Watertown and win in extra innings 10-7.  But, we unfortunately dropped Saturdays game atYA's Merchant Days with a final of 9-5.  We came out hot but our pitching ran out.  But, 2-1 on the entire week is pretty good for the teams we played.

 

Next, Plato takes the weekdays off but will head down to Jordan this weekend to play in the Charlie Luca Tournament.  This is a fun little tourney to see some different pitching and play against some other great teams in the state!  Game 1 for Plato is Friday Night at 8pm in Jordan vs Cold Spring.  If Plato wins game 1, then Game 2 would be Saturday @ 7pm.  If Plato loses game 1, then we play in the consolation side of the tourney and Game 2 would be at 12:15pm Saturday.  All game are played in Jordan.  Either way, come down and watch some great baseball this weekend in Jordan.  The heat will fall away and the beers will still be cold!

 

Season is starting to wind down and we are 3 weeks away from the District Tourney in Young America this year.  Mark that first weeked of August off on the calendar for the 2026 District Tournament!

 

 

PLEASE STAY OFF THE NEW ASPHALT AT THE BALL PARK UNTIL NOTIFIED THAT YOU CAN WALK OR SIT ON IT!!!! We respect your cooperation!!!!

 

Blue Jay Stadium is getting a face lift. Lots of projects going on! 
The infield was leveled off and the dirt was replaced. 
Mound and homeplate and around each base were replaced with new material.

We are putting in a new retaining wall by the first base dugout along with some new asphalt for the fans to enjoy. Keep and eye here for pictures of all the updates.
