After a very fun weekend in Jordan for the Charlie Larca Tournament, the Blue Jays come away as the 3rd place winners!  We had some great games this weekend and one little walk-off grand slam kept us away from being in the Championship Game!  We lost Saturday Night to Jordan with a final of 9-7.  But we came back Sunday afternoon and fought hard to beat the Bird Island Bullfrogs with a final of 6-4.  Great hitting this weekend really kept us in the games this time to back up great pitching.  Lets hope we can carry this through the final week of the 2026 season and throughout playoffs!

 

Next, Plato will be hosting the Green Isle Irish on Friday night this week, July 24th with the first pitch scheduled for 7:30pm.  

It is Alumni Night this coming Friday and we will also be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the 1996 State ChampionshipTeam!  Come on out and and congradulate them and while we celebrate that team but also celebrate Plato Blue Jay Baseball with all the alumni there and cheering on the Blue Jays as they face off against heated rival, the Green Isle Irish!  

1996 Team Members: Please be at the ballpark by 6:45 as you will line up by the first base dugout and walk onto the field to be introduced and congradulated.

 

This is the final week of the regular season.  The last game will be on Sunday, July 26th against Delano in Delano.  First pitch for that game will be at 1pm.

 

 

PLEASE STAY OFF THE NEW ASPHALT AT THE BALL PARK UNTIL NOTIFIED THAT YOU CAN WALK OR SIT ON IT!!!! We respect your cooperation!!!!

 

Blue Jay Stadium is getting a face lift. Lots of projects going on! 
The infield was leveled off and the dirt was replaced. 
Mound and homeplate and around each base were replaced with new material.

We are putting in a new retaining wall by the first base dugout along with some new asphalt for the fans to enjoy. Keep and eye here for pictures of all the updates.
