Game Notes: This game goes down as one of the worst defeats in recent history for Pius. Dan Foy started on the mound and didn’t make out of the 1st as Whitnall plated 4-Runs before the inning was over. Scott Perry came on in relief to spell Foy. What just happened here??? The Popes countered with 5-Runs in the bottom of the Inning, but you just didn’t have a good feel for this one from the onset. Errors and BB’s were the story. This isn’t Little League any more. Players have to make plays at the Varsity level. Time to move on to Waukesha West. There should be better days ahead. This one was UGLY!!
