| Game Notes: Game 2 would be a different story. After letting a golden opportunity slip away in game 1, Pius was determined to turn the tide and capture the nightcap. The baseball Gods were in agreement as Pius turned the table on KM and walked away with a hard fought 3-1 victory to gain the DH split. A sweep was the order of the day, but a split would be OK. Senior Joel Seagraves was on the Hill and pitched a gem in gaining the victory, allowing 1-Run on 6-Hits, while fanning 8. KM jumped out on top with 1-Run in their ½ of the 1st Inning. KM held that lead until the 5th when Pius was able to get on the board with a Run. Lenski reached on a K-E2, and promptly stole 2nd base. Tim Pauly laid down a beautiful SACB moving Lenski to 3rd. A Kevin Doerr SACF plated Lenski to tie it 1-1 after 5 Innings. Pius scored 2-Runs in the 6th to put it away. Seagraves led things off with a sharp Single to left (Salinas into run). A balk moved Salinas to 2nd. After a K and 4-3 groundout, Salinas moving to 3rd on the GO, Foy walked, (Bence into run). Justin Hunt stepped in and delivered a Single to plate the decisive winning run. Steve Lenski followed Hunt with an RBI Single to make it 3-1 Pius. Game, Set, Match.
