Kamloops Awarded 15U AAA Baseball BC Provincial Championship

Kamloops Minor Baseball has been announced as the host of the 2016 Baseball BC 15U AAA Provincial Championship to be held July 29 to August 1. This will serve as the qualification tournament for berths in Nationals and Westerns. The qualification process for the tournament is still somewhat unclear. It appears that the six BCPBL Bantam Prep teams (Victoria Mariners, Okanagan, Whalley, Coquitlam, North Shore, and Langley) will automatically qualify for the tournament along with Kamloops' 15U AAA team as the host. That leaves three berths for the remaining for any of the 16 BC Minor 15U AAA teams who wish to enter the qualification tournament July 14-17.
