The Delta Tigers rallied to come from five runs down to defeat the Burnaby Braves in a Tuesday evening exhibition game at Ron McLean Park. After jumping out to a 7-2 lead after four innings, the Tigers scored five runs in the 5th to tie the game at seven. The Braves immediately snatched the lead back with a Sam Van Snellenberg two out single in the bottom of the frame; however, the Tigers would score two in the 7th and turn an outstanding 4-6-3 double play to end the game. Michael Briglio led the Braves offense with two hits, including a three run 'short porch' home run to left in the 4th, earning him the coveted team Tomahawk. Van Snellenberg, Jonny Servidad, Williams Camacho-Soto, and Michael Briglio were all effective on the mound for Burnaby. The Braves travel to White Rock Wednesday evening to face the Tritons where Kaz Kada, Jack Yaremko, and Aidan Tomalty are scheduled to share the pitching duties.
