Four Cubby's Players Named to All Tourney Team -

Brookings had four players named to the 2009 State Amateur Baseball Tournament All Tournament Team.  They were Chris Miles, Tyson Lindenkugel, Billy Stitz, & Chris Brown.

Chris lead the Brookings pitching staff in the tourney.  Chris pitched 15 innings (2 complete games) giving up one earned run for an ERA of 0.60.  Opposing batters hit .098 vs. Chris and he struck out 10.

Tyson Lindenkugel (Pierre) held down the catching position for the Cubby's in state tourney.  The draftee from Pierre allowed zero past balls and zero stolen bases for the tournament.  At the plate Tyson went 7-22 (.318) with 2 HR's and 4 RBI.

Billy Stitz played a flawless center-field for the Cubby's in the 2009 toruney.  He went 9-26 (.346) at the plate.  He scored six runs and had two triples.

Chris Brown was the final selection for Brookings.  Chris went 11-25 (.440) in tourney with a team leading 7 RBI.  He also handled 24 chances without and error from the shortstop position.

Congrats to all four players!
