| On opening day the Stallions faced a tough team facing veterans of the NABA league the Nevada Yankees. Justin Spurier (Stallions Ace) got the start for the Stallions and cruised threw 7 innings. He struck out 12 Yankees, and only allowed 4 hits and 4 walks. Stallions put a big dent on earning there spot in this new more competitive league we are now in. They put up a total of 21 hits with 8 out of 11 guys in the lineup all having multi hit days. The hottest day at the plate had to be Dallas Tracy (3-4, 1 walk, 1 RBI), Chris Gschwender (4-5, 2 RBI's), and Jeff Brignola (3-5, 1 triple, 2 RBI's). Final score 18-8. |
