     After the end of week 3 in the Latin league the Stallions are sitting on a 1-2 record. However, the Stallions have the talent to win on the field. After beating one of the top teams with roughly 7 players the Stallions know they have what it takes to beat the teams in the league. They are making the adjustments needed to get back to their winning ways.

Stallions defeated the Rockies by a final score of 3-1 in the sizzling scorching las vegas heat.  This was also the Stallions debut in the Latin League.

Posted Feb 21/12 - "Stallions Pass the Test"
The Stallions were faced with a double header against 2 of the top ranked teams in the Naba league this past weekend. The Stallions being one of the newest teams to the league and a 2 time champion in the previous league they played in really showed what they were made of. After 19 innings of baseball the Stallions were able to put up 20 runs off 25 hits and battle through the multiple injuries throughout the day to pick up 2 victories. The Stallions gave up the lead early in both games while trying to adjust to the umpires moving strike zones. Once the Stallions dominant pitchers settled in, the opposing batters had a rough day at the plate and the Stallions' bats were able to get some runs accross the plate to rally back. Overall it was a long day of well played baseball from all teams and the Stallions came out on top. Stallions are now 3-0 and are in 1st place overall.

Posted Feb 12/12 - Stallions win season opener!
On opening day the Stallions faced a tough team facing veterans of the NABA league the Nevada Yankees. Justin Spurier (Stallions Ace) got the start for the Stallions and cruised threw 7 innings. He struck out 12 Yankees, and only allowed 4 hits and 4 walks. Stallions put a big dent on earning there spot in this new more competitive league we are now in. They put up a total of 21 hits with 8 out of 11 guys in the lineup all having multi hit days. The hottest day at the plate had to be Dallas Tracy (3-4, 1 walk, 1 RBI), Chris Gschwender (4-5, 2 RBI's), and Jeff Brignola (3-5, 1 triple, 2 RBI's). Final score 18-8.

Posted Jan 19/12 - Stallions Move To Naba
The Stallions have made the decision to move to the National Adult Baseball Association otherwise known as NABA. After winning back-2-back championships in the ABU league the Stallions look to continue thier success in the new league. Multiple players have been added to the championship roster to help the Stallions continue their success. Chris Gschwender has agreed to return to the Stallions as a player/ pitching coach to help guide the team another championship. The players that have been added to the roster are Austin geschke, Jesse Rimmer, Mel Godinez, Jeff Brignola, and the return of Keoki Wright. With the additions that were made The Stallions look to be stronger then ever.

Stallions repeated as champions on Sunday Novemember 27, 2011 defeating the Titans by a final score of 2-0.  The Stallions defended their spring championship all season long finishing with a Fall record of 12-2-1 en route to their second championship.  The Stallions have now been around for 2 seasons and have won championships each season of their existence.

Posted Aug 21/11 - Stallions Hit 6 Homeruns in Victory
CJ Najera got the start and the win on the hill for the Stallions pitching 6 innings.  Derek Schmidt led the offense hitting 2 homeruns and driving in 5.  Homeruns were also hit by Jeff Matthews(4rbi's), Carlos Mazon, Doug Davis, and Mike Finateri. The final score was Stallions - 15, Han - 4

Posted May 23/11 - Chris Gschwender = One Man Wrecking Crew
Stallions record improves to 13-0 with a win over The Show on Sunday in large part due to Chris Gschwender. Chris pitched 6 strong innings earning the win and went 4-5 at the plate with a homerun and 4 RBI's.  Other key moments of the game were Ricky Thorn's diving play at third base, an outfield assist to home by Joe Finateri to cut down the would be tying run, and Carlos Mazon throwing out a runner trying to steal 2nd base late in the game.

Posted Apr 17/11 - Spurrier goes the Distance, Mazon goes Deep!
Stallions moved to 10-0 on the season with a win over the Hurricanes Sunday at Paul Meyer.  The final score was 6-2.  Justin Spurrier pitched a complete game yielding just 2 runs while striking out 14.  Carlos Mazon broke through in a big way with a 2-run shot that gave the Stallions a comfortable 6-0 lead after 4 innings.  Joe Finateri went 3-4 with a couple of rbi's as well and was solid in centerfield.

Posted Mar 27/11 - Gschwender Pitches/Hits, Stallions Pickup Second Shutout Victory!

Chris Gschwender got his first start of the season on the mound and pitched a solid 5 innings allowing no runs and striking out 7 Beavers. Spurrier and Finateri came out strong out of the bullpen for 3 innings allowing no runs.  Stallions pickup their second shutout win of the season by a final score of 10-0.  The defense was perfect for the first time all season committing no fielding errors.

Posted Mar 21/11 - Stallions Battle Through Harsh Weather to Move to 6-0 on Season
The Stallions defeated The Show by a final score of 6-3 on Sunday.  Justin Spurrier(6-0) pitched six strong innings yielding just 1 earned run. Chris Gschwender pitched the final 2 innings earning the first save in Stallions' history.  Dynamite Doug Davis had his first multi-hit game of the season dawning the Stallions' name by going 3-4.  Chris Gschwender went 3-4, Mike Finateri went 2-3, big Ricky Thorn had a nice 2-3 day, and Derek Schmidt went 2-4 with some big time Rbi's late in the game.

Posted Mar 13/11 - Spurrier Pitches Shutout, Stallions Win!
Justin Spurrier moved to 5-0 on the season Sunday by defeating the Knights. He pitched a complete game striking out 11 through a six inning mercying.  The Final score was 12-0.  Dallas Tracy went 2-3 and ended the game with a walk-off homerun in the sixth inning. Mike Finateri, Joe Finateri, Dallas Tracy, and Justin Spurrier all had a multi-hit day.

Stallions defeated the Reds by a final score of 14-4.  Big hitters of the day were Derek Schmidt (3-3 with a homerun and 5rbi's) who hit his first homerun of the season, Jason Gschwender (2-4 with a homerun and 2 rbi's), Justin Spurrier (3-5 with 2 doubles) and Mike Finateri went 2-4.

The Stallions moved to 3-0 on the season with a win over the Beavers by a final score of 15-4.  The Stallions piled up a bunch of hits with Carlos going 2-4, Chris going 2-4, Derek going 3-4, Justin going 3-5, Joe going 3-5, and Mike going 4-5. The Pitching of the Stallions was lights out again with Justin Spurrier getting the start and the win.  Chris Gschwender (3innings) and Mike Finateri (1inning) combined for 4 no-hit innings out of the bullpen.
