When Jackson K. watched Nick S. one hop the ball to the fence in the top of the 7th I guess he felt the need to one up Nick as he got all that first pitch fastball to give us some breathing room against a game Ladner squad.  Deep over the left field fence!

Tonight the defence bent but did not break, some overall good pitching but we could have put the hammer down several times for big innings.  11 Ks with 5 looking to go with 10 hits, 7 walks and 1 HBP.  So 7 runs from 18 runners isn't a very good day's work at the dish.  We'll take the win, tip our hats and work hard Saturday for 3 tough games coming up in a row.  Well done gang.
