The Dragons are an adult 18 and over baseball organization that competes in various leagues in the Las Vegas area. The team has a mix of college level to recreational players dedicated to winning and having fun at the same time. The Dragons lost to the Titans 19-4 in Game 2 of the ZBL Championship Series. The loss meant that the Las Vegas Titans are the Spring 2007 ZBL Champions. Even though the team did not finish strong,it was a great season overall and they should have a very promising future ahead. June 16,2007:
In Game 1 of the ZBL Championship Series, the Dragons lost to the Titans 17-10. They picked the wrong time to play their worst game of the season. Due to injuries and unforseen circumstances, the short handed Dragons played under 110 degree weather and were forced to field a lineup that included the manager who had not played an inning of baseball in 2 seasons while almost everyone was playing out of position and it showed as they gave up a season high in runs and also commited a franchise record 11 errors. The Dragons beat the Devils 13-1 in the ZBL Semifinals. They improved to 6-0 all-time against the Devils with all wins coming by way of the mercy rule. David Ibarra got the complete game victory allowing 0 earned runs on 4 hits. Michael Morales went 3 for 4 with 2 rbi's,Dave Scaringe also went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 rbi's and Charles Clemons had 2 doubles with 3 rbi's. June 9,2007:
The Dragons beat the Scorpions 6-4 in the first round of the ZBL Playoffs. Kalen Carlisle went 4 for 5 at the plate and earned the save. Tom Stetter added a 3 for 4 performance with a triple and an rbi.
