Sadly to our organization coach Mike Claycomb passed away to be
with the lord on September 5th 2010. Mike was a coach a teacher and a
huge part in starting the Stinger Softball program. Mike was a loving
husband to his wife Tammy and a very proud father of his two children
Zach and Hannah. Over the years Mike had become one of my best friends
and along with me our players, coaches, parents and our entire
organiziation will deeply miss him.
We are a traveling girls fast pitch softball team, that was started in the Spring of 2009. In the past four years, we competed in 12U,14U and 16U softball tournaments. and this year we are happy to start competing in 18U also. Our teams are made up of girls from the Bedford, Blair Cambria and Huntingdon counties.
The 2013 season is approaching soon and we are very excited in how the teams are coming together. Last year between the three teams we placed in numerous tournaments. With creating the fourth team this year, this should be our most competitive year yet.
We would like to thank all the parents, sponsors, coaches and board members in advance for making the 2013 year a success. GOOD LUCK 2013 Keystone Stingers girls.
