Aaron put in a gutsy effort on the mound in the final game and also led the way at the plate.

Welcome to another year of Blue Jay's baseball. This year we are competing in the bantam division of the Highway 6&7 baseball league.

The league consists of 6 teams: Woodlands, Stonewall, Teulon, Arborg and 2 from Grosse Isle. This is the official web site of the Grosse Isle team coached by Rick Baldwin, Larry Thiessen and Wayne Knutson.

Our regular league schedule consists of 12 games (click on the schedule tab for dates, times and locations).

We lost a few players from last year, but we did make some big free agent signings this spring. Players that are returning are: Eric Baldwin, Blaine Brinkworth, Aaron Cockerill, Kyle Kelpin, Rodney Knutson, Nolan Lefley, Erik Norberg, Brett Thiessen, and we are hoping Keegan Tabin can return mid-season from a knee injury.

The new faces on the Jays are: Nathan Kiesman from Warren, Scott Foster from Lundar and Orrin Hogue from Eriksdale.

Practices have started and so far the weather has been great. Our first league game is scheduled for May 8th and our first home game is set for May 10th.
