The Minnesota Frost went 4-1 in Ames, Iowa to finish second. The Frost suffered a tough 3-1 loss to the Iowa Sticks in the finals leaving the bases loaded in the last inning. However, the Frost also threw a no-hitter earlier in the tournament. Frost hurlers, Andrew Allen, Travis Conoryea and Nick Gibson combined to throw the first no-hitter in Frost history. The pitching staff was assisted by great plays from Jordan Peoples and Nick Wegleitner in right field, shortstop Joey Costa and left fielder Nathaniel Allen. |

The Minnesota Frost struggled to an 0-3 record in Lake Hallie. The Frost lost twice to a tough Eau Claire Red team and also lost a one run heartbreaker to Appleton. Despite the losses, the Frost learned a lot about the next level of baseball as this was the first tournament played on a regulation size field. The Frost compete next in the Summer Shootout in Ames, Iowa. |

The Minnesota Frost finished second in Cedar Rapids with a record of 3-1. The Frost lost to the North Scott Lightning for the second year in the row, despite out-hitting the Lightning. |

Congratulations to The Frost in taking the championship of the 2011 Oregon, Wisconsin invitational. Over the weekend The Frost went 6-0 and defeated East Madison in the semifinals and West Bend in the finals. |
