Tigers Golf Tourney This Saturday

Although it wasn't the ending they were looking for, the 2010 season was still a good year for the Delta Tigers.  They finished the regular season third in their division and won a thrilling opening round playoff game against the Langley Expos.  Unfortunatley Mother Nature did not cooperate through September and round 2 of the playoffs was put back an extra 2 weeks, ultimatley leading to a very anti-climatic finish.  When you go 4 weeks without playing a live baseball game this time of year it is certaianly difficult to stay sharp and motivated.  Nevertheless, it is what it is and full credit to the Aldergrove Giants for coming out and playing a strong game.

Thus 2010 is now officially over which can mean only one thing....first ever Delta Tigers Invitational Golf Tournament which is being held this Saturday at Tsawwassen Golf Club.  It will be of the Texas Scramble format with 3 teams competing for bragging rights.  Stay tuned for the results.
