The Knights dropped two games at home this week. Playing without injured point guard Terrell Simmons, Cave Spring lost Tuesday to Lord Botetourt 61-59. Ben Lacy led the Knights with 18 points and Michael Colozza added 13 rebounds.

Thursday the Knights hosted William Fleming. After getting off to a slow start (down 17-3)...the Knights outscored the Coloniels the rest of the way but were unable to get any closer than 6 points (40-34). Again, Ben Lacy led the Knights with 16 points. Connor Baker added 7 points and 7 rebounds.

The Knights traveled to Northside and picked up a  road win. Cave Spring improves to 4-1. The Knights jumped out to a 17-3 lead after 1 quarter and led 37-10 at the half. Connor Baker and Cager Hicks scored 13 points a piece and Terrell Simmons added 10 points as the Knights cruised to a 62-46 victory.

Radford's Nate Jones hit a driving shot with :04 to give Radford a 54-52 win over Cave Spring. CS led most of the game after starting on an 11-0 run. The Knights held a 9 point lead entering the 4th quarter but the Bobcats went on 13-1 run to start the final period.

Sr. Point guard Terrell Simmons led the Knights with 22 points and Freshman Brody Hicks added 12 points.

The Knights opened the 2012-2013 season with an exciting Overtime win at Wm Byrd. Ben Lacy led the Knights with a career high 31 points. Trey Mills added 11 points off the bench.

The Knights host Radford Friday night. JV tips at 5:30 and varsity at 7:00.
