I would like to congratulate and thank the coaches, parents and players for a fantastic 2008 All Star season. The boy’s dedication, hard work, and skill was rewarded with one the most successful summer teams I've had the privilege of coaching.

 

The team played a total of 23 games finishing with an amazing 21 wins and 2 losses. They entered two tournaments prior to the Provincials Finishing first in both Newton and Kelowna. The team played 8 zone games on route to the Provincials winning all 8 games.

 

Unfortunately the summer ended in controversy with the 2008 Provincial Championships, however this in no way diminishes the fantastic summer these 12 young boys were able to achieve. The calibre of baseball they demonstrated during the summer was simply out standing.
