Mission Statement:

Mission Statement:  To empower youth to become positive people, leaders and contributors to society and to the world through athletics, academics, financial awareness and community service.  Lakeside Academy is a non-profit organization primarily serving the youth in the greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, who strive for excellence on and off the basketball court and the football field.  Lakeside Academy strongly emphasizes the importance of academic achievement, physical well-being and community service through integrity, character, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

Guiding Principles

 

Guiding Principles:  The following are the guiding principles of Lakeside Academy as it fulfills its Mission -

Mentor and educate the youth of Milwaukee and neighboring communities on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle  through proper nutrition and the avoidance of drugs and alcohol and staying in school to achieve financial success and independence.

Challenge our players to embrace these essential qualities for success in sports and life: character, hard work, accountability, teamwork, commitment, respect and sportsmanship.

Encourage our players to excel academically and athletically so that they are in a position to qualify for college scholarships and earn a college degree to become financially independent, positive, productive and successful leaders in society.

Strengthen our community and families by demonstrating leadership and innovation through volunteer opportunities, financial support, education and accountability, and academic and athletic success.
