The Gainesville FIREBIRDS are a new semi-pro football team in Hall County, Georgia. The FIREBIRDS goal is to serve the athletes in and around Hall County with the opportunity to take their game to the next level. Playing with the FIREBIRDS will be a great chance to be seen by colleges, and the Arena Football League. **The Firebirds are a member of the Deep South  Football League (DSFL), which is a NON-PAYING semi-pro league. The reason that the DSFL does not allow the players to be paid is so that the players can still be eligible to play in the NCAA.
