. In 1992 graduated from William M. Raines High School.
. Graduated from Clemson University in 1995 with a degree in Psychology
. He played quarterback and started as a true freshman and line backer his last year with Clemson.
. In 1996, he was drafted 50th overall second round draft to San Diego Chargers.
. His first year at San Diego Chargers he started as a rookie.
. After completing his career with the San Diego, Patrick signed with the Arizona Cardinals where he anchored a defense that led the Arizona Cardinals to the playoffs in 1999.
. A year later he retired from the Arizona Cardinals in 2000.
. In 2002 Patrick Sapp went to Atlanta Georgia to work for Xceleronsports as the Vice President.
. There is where he managed client development for this medium-sized professional sports agency.
. Then in 2005 he went back to Clemson where he became the assistant to the director of external affairs, later on he then became the director of major gifts.
