Soccer players in the San Marcos, Escondido, Vista, Oceanside, and surrounding communities need your assistance! Since 1980 American Youth Soccer Organization (“AYSO”) Region 127 has worked hard to provide local youth with the opportunity to play soccer at the recreational level at the lowest possible cost. Now through AYSO Matrix, talented youths from the ages of 10 through 18 will be able to play competitive soccer in San Diego’s Presidio League against other club teams throughout the county, but they need your support.

Although all of our coaches and administrators are volunteers, the cost of playing at the higher competitive level is difficult to manage for many of the players and their families. Our young athletes come from a wide range of economic and family situations, some low or single income. The cost of their participation is paid in the form of registration fees. These costs include fields, uniforms, equipment for practices and games, referees, training for coaches and insurance. Through the efforts of our volunteer staff, AYSO Matrix is able to keep these fees to a minimum, but the cost can still be more than $375 per player per season. Additional tournament and equipment costs can increase per player costs.

Our Region encompasses San Marcos, Escondido, Vista, Oceanside, and surrounding communities.
