2022-23 SW Jets Ready to Go!!!

After a refreshing summer, the SW Jets U15 AA hockey team is back! Anchored by seven returning players, the SW Jets are ready to hit the ice for what is expected to be a competitive season!
This year’s SW Jets features players from St. Adolphe, Niverville, Ste. Agathe, Grunthal and St. Malo. The team is led by head coach Chris Kurbatoff from Grunthal. Helping Chris on the bench this season is Andy Lavack from St. Malo and Jason Hudson from Niverville.
The SW Jets have a mix of size and speed up front, along with a strong veteran defensive core and two solid goaltenders holding down things in the back end.
The Jets have had a couple of week’s worth of high tempo practices under their belt so far. Added to that the team has played in two exhibition games where the coaches saw the team take great strides in synergy and consistency.
The league opener for the SW Jets is Friday October 21st in Rosenort where they take on the Twisters from Pembina Valley.
The home opener for the SW Jets takes place on Sunday October 23rd in Niverville (Centennial Arena) where they welcome the Central Snipers.
It is sure to be an exciting season of hockey both on and off the ice for this crew!
