MC Rugby convincingly beat Loyola 45 to 15, securing their place at the top of the league table.

Montgomery College Men's (MC) Rugby club was founded in the Spring of 2010. Fall 2011 is the club's first official league season, competing in the Division III of the Potomac Rugby Union (PRU).


MC rugby now competes in the PRU division II Fall league competition against teams such as American University, Catholic University, Loyola University in Maryland, Frostburg State University and St. Mary's College of Maryland. In the Spring, the team plays in a variety of tournaments and friendly matches against teams in the EPRU, VRU and PRU.


The team fields two full sides every weekend, an A side which competes in league matches and a developmental B side team. We practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Welsh Park in Rockville, MD starting at 4:30. Matches are held on Saturdays, usually starting at 1PM.
