
Welcome to the home of the West Kelowna Diamondbacks Midget AAA Baseball Club. We are excited for the upcoming season.
Winter Ball:
We will be getting together once a week to brush up on our hitting, fielding, throwing and overall conditioning leading up to the season. The cost of this is $75 and will run for 9-10 weeks.

Mondays: 7:00pm - 9:30pm George Pringle Elementary - 3770 Elliott Road - Westbank
Wednesdays (optional conditioning): 4:30pm - 5:30pm at World Gym - #101-1195 Industrial Road - West Kelowna
- These will be intensive conditioning sessions for 8-10 weeks with personal fitness instructor Tyler Dale. Tyler is a former NCAA div.1 Baseball Player and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer. Cost for this will be $22.50 per session and he can take up to 6 players per session. This is paid to World Gym at the time of the session.
Fridays (optional): 8:00pm - 9:30pm at Sensisyusten Rec. Centre - 1920 Quail Lane, Westbank (For those wanting extra hitting or pitching work. We will be joining the bantams.)
Tryouts: We will be holding tryouts for the Midget AAA Team from Jan. 30 to Feb 20th with the final roster being annouced shortly after.
Selection: Players will be evaluated on their attitude, coachability, as well as on their baseball skills.
Roster: The team will consist of up to 16 committed players.
Schedule: The Midget AAA season consists of 44 league games. We play from the beginning of April through to the end of July with the Provincial Championships in early August. On top of that, we will play in 1 or 2 exhibition tournaments.
Cost: Cost for players making the West Kelowna D-Backs AAA team will be $750 for the season, which will include uniforms, practice shorts and t-shirt.
Coaching: Team will be coached by WKMBA NCCP Certified coaches with a minimum of 6 years of coaching experience. As well we will have guest coaches coming to work with the teams catchers and pitchers, including Mike Wilson (former PBL Head Coach).
Furthermore, any players who wish to assist with the Mosquito and PeeWee Winter Ball program can come out Saturday mornings and help from 9am-10:15am for Mosquito and 10:30am-11:45am for PeeWee. This is an opportunity to give back to your association and the younger kids. Just show up at Sensisyusten Gym on Saturday mornings beginning January 14th with running shoes and your glove.
