Dear Future Wildcat Volleyball Player:

 

We all hope that you had an exciting summer; however, we are off to another exciting school year and volleyball season here at Dekaney High School. 

 

Try-outs and practices will begin on August 3^rd, (please use the following schedule). Check in on August 3^rd will begin at 7:30 AM in Gym 1.  All practices will be held in Gyms 1 and 2 at Dekaney High School.  You will need to wear your own workout gear for all try-outs.  This includes shorts/tights (no cut-offs or zipper shorts), a t-shirt, and court shoes.  We will issue equipment once teams have been decided.  Please do not bring anything up to the gym that you would hate to lose.  There will be no place for you to secure your items.  This means that you are to leave all jewelry – watches, earrings, necklaces, rings, etc. at home.  You will under no circumstances be allowed to wear them in the game; therefore, you don’t need to wear them at practice.

  Wednesday – August 5th   Â	  All Levels Â	  9:00am to 11:30am AND 1:00pm to 3:30pm
  Thursday – August 6th   Â	  All Levels Â	  3:30pm to 5:45pm Mandatory Parent meeting at 6:15pm
  Friday – August 7th Â	  All Levels Â	  Kempner Scrimmage~Be here ready to go at 7:15 am
  Saturday-August 8th Â	  All Levels Â	  Aldine Scrimmage~ be here ready to go at 8:00 am

 

Please remember that you must have a physical performed by a doctor and all paperwork completed once you arrive for try-outs.  This must be turned in with all signatures in order for you to participate.  If you don’t, you will not be allowed to try-out until it is complete.
