| The Wheatmore Lady Warriors Soccer Team traveled to Southwestern Randolph for the first game of the 2012 season. Southwestern starting out strong by scoring off a perfect corner for a score off a header but this would be the only score for the cuargers. Lexa Wall took over by scoring 3 and 1 assist all in the first half followed by Maddy Myers with 1 and also 1 assist. In the second half the warriors took control and put the game away early with Emmie Grantham and Emily Brown scoring with assists coming from Shay Pencola and Leah Wright. On a free kick deep in the left corner Hannah Ryan found the back corner of the goal which would finish the night for the lady warriors. Cora Weeks scored the win in goal while Mallory Lowe and Megan Smith played some valueable minutes. Next Game at home against West Davidson, see you on the pitch. |
