| The Prior Lake Jays dropped a 1-0 decision in Prior Lake on Wednesday. 6 total hits came off the Bird Bats after a night where 15 hits were sprayed around the diamond in St. Peter. Lyle Zweber started for the Jays and lasted 7 innings, allowing just 6 hits on the way to a loss. Poor plate appearances and a tough pitching outing compiled a quick 6 hit shut out for the Jays on Wednesday. Nobody played well enough to earn player of the game so that award will be saved for another day. The Jays are right back to action tonight, at home, against the American Pie Patriots. 7:30pm is your first pitch game time with Tom Larson taking the bump for the Jays. |
