| Kyle Zweber pitched a complete game, 2 hit shut out on Wednesday night against the RVL's Chanhassen Redbirds. It was a pitching duel deep into the 7th inning, at 0-0. In the top of the 8th it all started, Dan Schroeder led off with a single to left, Jim Schroeder followed up his little brother with a base hit up the middle. Yes they went back to back, not back to front, WHOOOPS. |

| The Prior Lake Jays dropped a 1-0 decision in Prior Lake on Wednesday. 6 total hits came off the Bird Bats after a night where 15 hits were sprayed around the diamond in St. Peter. Lyle Zweber started for the Jays and lasted 7 innings, allowing just 6 hits on the way to a loss. Poor plate appearances and a tough pitching outing compiled a quick 6 hit shut out for the Jays on Wednesday. |

| A hot and humid night in Prior Lake was home to the River Valley League battle between the Prior Lake Jays and the Victoria Vics. Prior Lake jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on a 2 run shot off the bat of Tim Garceau. The Vics quickly answered with a 3 run inning to regain the lead and hold it for 2 innings. Down 3-2 going into the 6th inning, the Jays piled on 6 runs and never looked back. Some late innings runs made this a victory for the Jays 9-4. |

| The Prior Lake Jays traveled to LeSueur on Wednesday, June 1st for a River Valley League battle. The Jays jumped out to an early league and never looked back. Jim Schroeder was your #1 star with a home run, double and 3 runs batted in. Marshall Mullenbach took the victory on the mound, lasting 6 innings and grunting more than a Buck in Rut. Key hits from Tony Doherty, in the 7th with white strips applied. Jared Wasik drove in 3 runs for the Jays and Dan Schroeder also had 2 hits for himself. |

| On a night filled with 130 mph gusts of wind, the Prior Lake Jays were able to hold off the Black Sox from Rosemount in a Section 5 battle. TJ Larson started on the mound for the Jays, lasting 6 innings, allowing 1 run and striking out 12 batters. Timothy Garceau hit a 500 foot home run that traveled 390 feet into the dead wind of the night. |

| It was a weekend full of events for the Prior Lake Jays. On Saturday May 14th, the team and friends enjoyed it's first annual golf outing at Creeks Bend Golf course in New Prague. 65, -6 under was the winning score coming from Tony Doherty, Kyle Zweber, John Leitch, Corey Goblirsch and Adam Cress. Congratulations guys! The Jays want to thank everyone for participating and enjoying the day. It was a very successful event for the Jays. |
