| The Prior Lake Jays traveled to LeSueur on Wednesday, June 1st for a River Valley League battle. The Jays jumped out to an early league and never looked back. Jim Schroeder was your #1 star with a home run, double and 3 runs batted in. Marshall Mullenbach took the victory on the mound, lasting 6 innings and grunting more than a Buck in Rut. Key hits from Tony Doherty, in the 7th with white strips applied. Jared Wasik drove in 3 runs for the Jays and Dan Schroeder also had 2 hits for himself. Timothy Garceau chucked the last 2 innings for the Jays, allowing a few walks, but nothing scary as he was spotting a 96 mph 2-seam in the 8th. The Jays improve to 3-1 on the season and 2-1 in RVL action. They will return home on Friday June 3rd to take on Coach POOPitz and the Victoria Vics. Weekend action for the Jays includes, Friday at home against the Vics, Saturday on the road to Inver Grove Heights, and Sunday on the road to Victoria.
