OFFICIAL TRYOUTS FOR BOYS 3rd through 7th grade AND Girls 3rd through 7th grade BEGIN ON 10/21, 10/23 (6pm-9pm at CMS). AN ADDITIONAL DATE HAS BEEN ADDED TO TRYOUTS! 10/26 3PM-5PM AT CMS. Cost is $25.00. Teams will be announced on 10/26 with practices beginning on 10/28. Each player MUST attend one tryout to be eligible! The Player Contract that will state specifics (Cost, Tournaments, etc) is posted under the handouts tab. Boys and Girls 8th Grade tryouts will be announced soon. Boys and Girls High School Division will have tryouts in February. If you are playing a fall sport and cannont make any of the above dates, please contact Julia Skinner asap. A PARENT MEETING WILL AT THE END OF EACH FIRST PRACTICE. ALL FORMS (PLAYER CONTRACT, COPY OF BC, WAIVER FORM, COPY OF REPORT CARD AND FEES) WILL BE DUE AT THE PARENT MEETING. I YOU NEED TO SPLIT YOUR FEES IN TO TWO PAYMENTS, THE FIRST WILL BE DUE AT THE PARENT MEETING THEN THE SECOND CAN BE 3 WEEKS LATER. |

NRV Elite will be offering an August "Skills and Drills" Camp on 8/25, 26th and 27th 5:30pm-8PM. The camp will be for boys and girls 3rd through 8th grade. These camps will focus on the development of the total athlete. Ball Handling, shooting, defense, rebounding, movement with and without the ball, how to think the game! White Board presentation for 15 minutes as well! |

NRV Elite Boys High School Division Tryout for current 9th through 12th grade will be March 19th at Christiansburg Middle School, 6:00pm-8pm. $25.00 tryout fee. Elite 6th (Mike Hunter) and Elite 7th (Julie Skinner) finished 2nd. Not bad with just 2 practices!! NRV Elite announces SUMMER ELITE CAMPS for Boys and Girls 3rd Grade through 8th Grade! The date is August 12th, 13th and 14th! 5pm-8pm. 9 TOTAL Hours of ELITE instruction by Head Coach Julia Skinner and staff. Station work that includes conditioning with ladder, recoils and resistance. Ball Handling for beginners and advanced that include tennis ball and resistance. Shooting-all phases (movement with and without the ball). Defense-understanding your role on the floor. Vertical development with resistance training. Only taking 30 spots for each date. The cost is $150.00 for 9 hours of instruction. Call or email today to secure your spot! Once registration is received, each player will be required to fill out a camp form that includes insurance information and waiver of liability. This also allows the staff of NRV Elite to evaluate your child for possible play with NRV Elite teams 2013-2014. |
