NRV Elite Basketball Club will not be hosting or holding any tryouts for the 2014 and 2015 season. If you are looking for an AAU basketball team, please contact Shawn Good, Director of Basketball, at Spectrum Sports Academy, Roanoke, VA OR you may search the list of local teams in the NRV area through the AAU.org website. It has been a blessing to work with so many kids within the NRV area and each of you have helped me in my fight against Breast Cancer. I will NEVER forget any of you. You will forever be in my heart.

WHAT IS AAU BASKETBALL? NOT RECREATIONAL BASKETBALL OR UPWARD BASKETBALL.....THIS IS BASKETBALL FOR ATHLETES WHO WANT TO BE COMMITTED TO THE GAME! NRV ELITE REPRESENTS ATHLETES FROM ACROSS THE ENTIRE NEW RIVER VALLEY AND SURROUNDING AREAS! IN 2012, OVER 9 SCHOOL DISTRICTS WERE REPRESENTED!!!

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A MEMBER OF NRV ELITE AAU BASKETBALL CLUB? NRV ELITE ONLY WANTS PLAYERS WHO ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THEIR GAME AND WANT TO BE THE BEST!
An average of 6 tounaments per age divsion with overnight travel to mid-major and high profile tournaments!
Practice instruction consists of fundamental drill work for one to one 1/2 hour plus conditioning then maybe scrimmaging!
