Information Document:

Team Aspire is a USA Volleyball club organization that committed to promoting youth volleyball in the North Escambia County, Florida and surrounding Alabama areas.

My name is Betty Heaton and I am the Head Volleyball coach at Northview High School.  The observation by coaches in the area is that there are girls that are interested in playing club volleyball, but that driving distances for club teams in Pensacola and Mobile have prohibited them from playing.  We are interested in starting a club team and/or training team in the North Escambia Florida and surrounding Alabama areas.

What is Club Volleyball?

Club Volleyball is used to help players gain more experience playing volleyball.  Club Volleyball will give players interested in developing their volleyball skills a chance to practice and play volleyball with a variety of coaches and teammates.

What is Training Team?

Training Team is a non-tournament club volleyball team.  The goals would still be the same as a club volleyball team but they would not travel or play in tournaments.  This would provide the players with the chance to practice and improve their skills.

The season would start in January and consist of two (2) practices a week and at possible two (2) tournaments a month (excluding January) and go through April for club volleyball teams.  The training team would consist of two (2) practices a week from January through April. All tournaments for the club volleyball team will be in the local area (~3.5 hours or less drive).  Times and days may vary due to the court availability.

If you have any questions please call or write to Betty Heaton at (251-253-0101) or Cheryl Bosley at (251-591-0456).
