First Day of Practice and Tryouts - Friday, January 16 4:30 - 6:30 & Saturday, January 17 1:00 - 4:00. 

 

Make sure you have your physical ready to go and all of your paperwork completed in Rank One. 

 

 

WHAT DO YOU NEED BEFORE FRIDAY?

                 1. Athletic Physical and other paperwork

                 2. Baseball glove, shoes, and cap DO NOT BUY ANYTHING NEW

                 3. Any other baseball attire (bring something warm to wear in case of cold weather)

 

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE: 4:30-6:30 Friday, 1:00-4:00 Saturday,

      9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday & 4:30-6:30 Tuesday, Wednesday (If needed)

WHAT WILL BE TESTED?

FRIDAY: 60 yard dash (distance between two bases @ 90 ft.)

Running time from home to first with a swing

Distance throw (make sure your arm is in shape and ready to go)

Radar Gun Throw (if available)

SATURDAY: Hitting Stations (First Cuts)

MONDAY: Fielding Ground Balls and Fly Balls

Pitchers throw / Catchers catch

Other defensive skills

TUESDAY: Defensive Position Work (Second Cuts)

All this is subject to change due to weather, numbers, etc.
