With the growing trend of competitive softball moving away from Little Leagues to Travel Teams the expenses grow. The young mens of the Ruidoso Young Guns are seeking the support of local businesses, parents, friends, via sponsorships and/or donations to assist in the growing cost of to maintain a competitive program.With your help we are able to acquire the necessary equipment, supplies, training and uniforms to keep these players on the field. Our Mens league, for more than twenty years, has offered organized softball to the Mens and young mens of Ruidoso, and surrounding cities at our fields at Eagle Creek Complex here in Ruidoso. Last year we had over 200 players ages 15 to 50 years in our league.The Ruidoso Young Guns is a Class Rec. plus, Slow pitch Mens team.OUr age ranges from 15 to 20 yrs old. This is our second year running team, placing third place last year league turnament. The Mens Softball Program is composed of athletes and coaches from the local Ruidoso Communities. We are a NON-PROFIT Team. Our managers, coaches, team and board members are volunteers from our community. To offer a safe, organized softball experience requires a lot of financial assistance.The average cost of a team to participate in the league is $1100.00. Approximately 60% -80% of our operations costs are supplied by sponsorship and donations.Our players cover the rest of the cost.No player is turned away because they cannot pay. For their fee, they receive a team shirt (jersey), and help pay for umpire fees. We depend on you, as community partners, to help us raise the funds needed through sponsorships. Private donations in any amount are also greatly appreciated. For every donation $200 or more the sponsor will get a certificate of appreciation, and company logo that is proudly displayed on our Jersey and website for the year. These sponsorships and donations are tax deductible. On an average the cost of sponsorships are about $250 but we welcome any amount you or your company can contribute. Your sponsorship will help provide the team with tournament fees, Entry fees, equipment and appreciations for their dedication and hard work. These young men will be giving their best this season.
