The Rockbridge Diamond Club is a volunteer organization designed to promote competitive baseball in Rockbridge County and support the RCHS Baseball Program.  In our first season the Diamond Club sponsored the areas first "Middle School" team which competed in the National Amateur Baseball Federation Sophomore Division.  This team was composed of 7th and 8th graders from area middle schools.  The team played a spring season beginning in February and finishing in May.  During the summer season in June and July the Diamond Club sponsored three teams.  We had two 14 and under Sophomore Division teams composed of 7th, 8th, and 9th graders, and a 17 and under High School Division Team.  This fall we currently have a 14 and under team playing in the Augusta Babe Ruth Fall League and a High School Division team playing in the Valley Fall Ball League.  In the spring of 2010 we also hope to add a 12 and under AAU team to our program.
