Spartans Fall in OT in Round 3
The Seven Lakes Spartans advanced to the third round of the playoffs but lost a very close game to Cy Woods on Tuesday, February 25th.  The loss ended the Spartans 14-game winning streak and the season for Seven Lakes.  The Spartans finish the season at 28-7 and 14-0 in District.  The men's squad sends out a big THANK YOU to SPARTAN NATION for their support this season! 

*The Spartans opened the playoffs with wins against Sam Houston and Langham Creek bringing their KISD Record total of playoff wins to 12. 

Spartans Earn 3 of 5 District Titles; Bring Title Count to 32 !
The Spartan Basketball Community is proud of all of our young student-athletes and the commitment they've made to their teammates.  Their hard work and dedication paid off this year with three first place, one second place, and one third place finish.  Congratulations to the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshmen A teams on their district championship seasons in 19-5A!  The Varsity finished undefeated at 14-0, the JV at 12-2, and the 9A undefeated at 14-0. 

Spartan Dominance: 9 Seasons, 43 Teams, 32 District Titles
The SL Men's Program is proud to announce that the 2013-2014 squads have added three more district championships. We are proud of our current student athletes and our alumni for building a tradition of excellence here at Seven Lakes. In nine years of competition, the SL program has fielded 43 teams competing at the V, JV, Soph, 9A, and 9B levels. Of those 43 teams, 32 of them have claimed the top spot in district play for the season. Congratulations Spartans!

Spartan Varsity Completes Undefeated District Season; Pushes 20-win season streak to 7!
The Spartans Varsity earned a tough 52-32 victory over the Katy Taylor Varsity on Tuesday to round out the district season 14-0.  Congratulations to the Varsity as they are one of a handful of Texas teams to go unblemished in district play!

Spartan Sweep Count at 11!
A Spartan Sweep occurs when the Spartans go 5-0 on the night.  The SLHS men's basketball program has made it a goal to earn as many sweeps as possible in a season.  The program record is 16 in a season.  This year, the Seven Lakes program earned 11 with the wins coming against:  Katy, Strake Jesuit, Mayde Creek x 2, Morton Ranch, Memorial x 2, Cougar/Warrior Night, Clear Falls, Hastings, and Terry.

Program Win #900
The Seven Lakes 9A earned the program's 900th win in 9 years as they downed The Woodlands in the Aldine Invitational on Friday.  Congratulations to all current and former Spartans on this accomplishment!

Congratulations Spartan Sophomores!
The Sophomore win streak ends at 64 games after a loss on Friday night.  The Seven Lakes Soph squad had earned three district championships the last three years during their winning streak.  The last loss took place on December 28, 2010 to Cy Lakes.  Congratulations goes out to all of the SL Sophomore players and Coach Heston on an amazing run!

Spartan Scrimmage this Saturday
The Spartans will compete in their first scrimmage this Saturday at Fort Bend Bush.  The Spartans will take on the Broncos as well as Houston Westside.  Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity squads will be in action.

The Seven Lakes Men's Basketball Program is proud to announce that this year's program has earned four more district championships.  We are proud of
our current student athletes and alumni for building a tradition of excellence for Seven Lakes Basketball.  In eight years of competition, the Seven Lakes program has fielded 38 basketball teams competing at the Varsity, Junior Varsity, Sophomore, Freshmen A and Freshmen B level.  Of those 38 teams, 29 of them have earned the top spot in district play.  Congratulations Spartans!

Spartans Ean 800 Wins in 8 Years
The Seven Lakes Spartans Men's Basketball Program Earned Win #800 in less than eight years of basketball as the Spartan JV topped the Cinco Ranch JV 45-44 on Friday night.  Congratulations to all current and former players who've contributed to 800 PROGRAM WINS!!!
